ASIANA PAGEANTS RULES OF ELIGIBILITY
Below are the rules of eligibility for each category of competition for Asiana Pageants.
1. Miss Asiana UK is open to Asian girls and women living in the UK and whose parents’ country of origin is from the South Asian region; Indian subcontinent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
2. All applicants must have a British passport.
3.a. All applicants should be aged between 18-29 on 30th December of the year of entry.
3.b. All applicants should not be married or have given birth to a child.
4. All applicants must upload two recent pictures of yourself (one full-length, one headshot). Please note your photo(s) do not have to be professional, selfies are acceptable at this stage. These images are used only for the purpose of submitting your registration form and cannot be used to promote yourself as a contestant on our website, social media or marketing.
5. Files need to be less than 5MB each and in jpg or png format. You must submit only recent photographs of yourself.
6. Photographs should be appropriate, may be natural or slightly retouched and include a face image and full-length image.
7. Pictures should be in colour.
8. Head shots are recommended, without distractions.
9. Photos should reflect the contestant’s photogenic potential.

Miss Asiana INTERNATIONAL is open to Asian women living outside United Kingdom or are in the United Kingdom on a different international passport and whose parents’ country of origin is from the South Asian region; Indian subcontinent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
2. This category is for entrants without a UK passport.
3.a. All applicants should be aged between 18-29 on 30th December of the year of entry.
3.b. All applicants should not be married or have given birth to a child.
4. All applicants must upload two recent pictures of yourself (one full-length, one headshot). Please note your photo(s) do not have to be professional, selfies are acceptable at this stage. These images are used only for the purpose of submitting your registration form and cannot be used to promote yourself as a contestant on our website, social media or marketing.

1. Asian Face is open to Asian girls and women living in the UK and whose parents’ country of origin is from the South Asian region; Indian subcontinent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
2. All applicants must have a British passport.
3.a. All applicants should be aged between 16-26 on 30th December of the year of entry.
3.b. All applicants should not be married or have given birth to a child.
4. Upload two recent pictures of yourself (one full-length, one headshot). Please note your photo(s) do not have to be professional, selfies are acceptable at this stage. These images are used only for the purpose of submitting your registration form and cannot be used to promote yourself as a contestant on our website, social media or marketing.

1. When you apply for the competition, you are accepting for Asiana to shoot your professional pictures to be submitted for the competition.
2. Contestants are NOT ALLOWED to submit their own pictures.
3. Pictures of all contestants participating in the different categories of Asiana Pageants, must only be taken by the photographer hired by the organisers. These pictures will be used to promote the contestants on websites, social media & marketing.
4. This is to ensure that all contestants are protected from any legal disputes which may occur from breach of copyright & usage restrictions.
5. All contestants will be offered photo-shoots at a reduced cost, failure to comply with the dates provided may result in extra costs being incurred.
6. It is in the interest of both parties to ensure high quality images are submitted.
7. Please note all photo-shoots must be done within 4 weeks of entry to ensure that each contestant gains maximum exposure in association with the pageants publicity & marketing.
8. Contestant are not allowed to take pictures on mobile devices or digital cameras.
9. Images must not be released without prior written consent; in Print or Social Media. Images are not allowed to be used for 3rd Party usage.
10. Pay a non refundable registration fee of £125 by bank transfer.

12. Asiana Pageants owns the copyright of pictures & videos taken on our events / photoshoots & may use these for marketing our event.
1. Contestants are given the opportunity to participate in several promotional opportunities throughout the year, which may result in additional costs (e.g. photoshoot costs etc). Contestants are not obliged to take part.
2. We do not accept third-party images to be submitted into promotional materials.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All contestants that win a title or category award will be managed only by the organisers during the course of one year from the date of winning the title.
2. All titleholders must not undertake private work for example photoshoots/ campaigns/ guest appearances/ public speaking/ acting/ promotional work or participate in any form of Collaborations without approval by the management.

4. Failure to comply with all our rules may lead to disqualification and your title being revoked.
5. All contestants are responsible for their own costs including travel and makeup, hair & outfit.
All Contestants are offered a subsidised Professional Photoshoot(s) in order to create a Professional Portfolio at an affordable price.
1. All photographs, videos and other promotional material produced by Asiana Pageants remain the copyright of Asiana Pageants and may not be used without out written permission.
2. Payments of the photoshoots are non-refundable, no images will be released for usage without payment in full.
3. Photoshoots organized for contestants are to be used strictly to promote the contestants participation in the pageant and are not to be used for personal usage.
4. Photos are not allowed to be used for any third party usage. For example Magazines, Events, Leaflets, Banners, Modelling Agencies, TV, Other Pageants, makeup artists & fashion companies, Social Media etc.
5. Contestants are only allowed to use these images after prior written permission for their own social media sites/ website/portfolios. All images must be clearly credited to their relevant Category, Pageant and its Sponsors.
6. Mobile Phones/Cameras – No footage can be taken during Photoshoots/events without prior Permission from the organisers.
7. If you have received prior consent to take photos or videos during the Photoshoots/Events, please inform everyone present for permission whilst taking any images and videos to avoid third parties being recorded or their images being taken without their knowledge. This will ensure there is no conflict.
8. Failure to comply may result in Disqualification. Unauthorised usage of pictures will result in the usage of images being withdrawn and usage/admin fees will be incurred.
9. Contestants will be shown the images for approval during the Photoshoot. The final selection of images will be chosen by the organisers.
10. Contestants are allowed to have usage of additional images if they require, additional editing costs will apply per image.
11. For confidentiality reasons, we do not send out images for pre-selection. Contestants may view the images and participate in the selection at our London Office, with prior agreement.
12. Images of each contestants will be uploaded onto the website to promote the contestants and create promotional marketing material on social media sites. Images are compulsory for any public voting stages if the organisers decide to have one.
13. Contestants who withdraw without completing the pageant will loose the discount received for the photoshoot and will have to pay the full cost of the photoshoot.
Selection of Images
14. Each look that is created for the contestants on the photoshoot will be shown to contestant at the time of the shoot and approved by the contestant.
15. It is compulsory that each look which is created on the photoshoot for contestants is used for the use to promote the contestants participating in the pageant and the editing cost is paid.
16. It is compulsory that each Contestants has to use 1 image of each look created for them at the photoshoot & pay for editing costs. This is to avoid unnecessary pictures being taken & the focus remains on creating looks that are going to be used to promote Contestants.
17. The final selection is done by the organisers.
18. PHOTOGRAPH SELECTION, EDITING, RETOUCHING
All photographs taken during the professional photoshoot will be reviewed by the Organiser, who will select the images considered most suitable for professional editing and submission for judging.
All selected photographs must undergo professional magazine-standard editing and retouching by the Asiana Editing Team before they are released or submitted for judging. Raw, unedited or unfinished images will not be provided or released to contestants or non participating contestants.
Magazine-standard professional retouching is charged per selected image, and this charge applies to all photoshoot packages. Contestants are responsible for payment of the applicable editing and retouching fees. Edited photographs will only be released once the relevant fees have been paid in full.
Professional editing and retouching by the Asiana Editing Team may include adjustments to lighting, colour, exposure, cropping, skin retouching and other enhancements considered appropriate to achieve the professional magazine standard required by Miss Asiana.
The final professionally edited photographs will be submitted to the Asiana Pageants for assessment and judging as part of the relevant modelling/photographic category.
The Organiser will determine which photographs are selected for editing and submission for scoring, to ensure that the images submitted represent the contestant and meet the required competition standard.
1. Once we have received your application form, your application form will be automatically processed and the administration fee is non refundable after this stage. Please note the administrative fee charged is to process your application form to enter Asiana Pageants. This fee is purely to cover the administrative costs to process your application.
2. If at any stage you decide to withdraw your application form from the beauty pageant, for whatever reason or unforeseen circumstances, the application fee is non refundable, as the service for processing your application form to enter has been processed and therefore the service has been provided.
3. Photoshoot deposits and payments for photoshoots are non refundable. Please note after the photoshoot has taken place, payment for the photoshoot is non-refundable. Deposits PAID towards your photoshoot are non-refundable if you fail to attend the photoshoot.
4. Failure to comply with our rules may lead to disqualification.
5. All fees for registration, pageant participation, photo shoots and other benefits, are non-refundable.
Contestants are responsible for ensuring that all required pageant fees are paid by the deadlines specified by Asiana Pageants.
Following a successful Zoom interview and acceptance into the live event, the £375 Live Event Participation Fee must be paid to secure the contestant’s place on the catwalk. Places are limited and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment.
Contestants may choose to obtain personal or business sponsorship to assist with the cost of their participation. Asiana Pageants may provide general guidance and sponsorship information to help contestants approach potential sponsors; however, Asiana Pageants does not guarantee that sponsorship will be secured.
Any sponsorship arrangements entered into by a contestant are the responsibility of the contestant and the sponsor. Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Asiana Pageants, failure to obtain sponsorship does not remove or postpone the contestant’s responsibility to pay the required pageant fees.
Where sponsorship is obtained, the contestant must ensure that any sponsor details, logos, promotional material or other information required by Asiana Pageants are supplied by the stated deadline. Sponsorship may be secured up to two weeks before the live event, subject to approval by Asiana Pageants.
Payment of the participation fee secures the contestant’s place in the live event and contributes towards the costs associated with staging and delivering the pageant, including event management, professional hair and makeup, rehearsals, stylists, choreography, venue, photography, videography and other production costs.
1. Once your registration is accepted and your entry is approved to be a contestant for any of the titles / category awards of Asiana Pageants, if you are considering entering any other pageants you must inform the organisers first for required permission. If you fail to inform, this may result in disqualification as a contestant of Asiana Pageants.
2. All contestants of Asiana Pageants are required to agree to the terms of entry and abide by the rules of eligibility in the contest.
